What happened to Aaron Swartz is so unjust and tragic. But I guess that fate is almost certain when you uncover injustices or crimes the US government and institutions do not like; when you go against the stream. Doesn’t matter if you’re a kid (that’s morally right, too).
But this is not only depressing. It also celebrates Aaron’s victories and general accomplishments.
On a side note: it struck me as remarkable, that the internet allowed a thirteen year old kid to collaborate with adults on the spec of RSS. I doubt this would have happened in real life, simply because of artificial societal hurdles and/or adult arrogance.
